As The Lux Studio grew following its opening in 2019, so did Michelle's understanding that success requires continual evolution. While some chapters brought tremendous growth, others provided valuable lessons that helped shape the salon into what it is today. After several years operating within a chair-rental model, Michelle recognized an opportunity to create a more collaborative environment—one that would better support both stylists and clients while elevating the overall salon experience.
Driven by a desire to provide exceptional service, stronger support systems, and greater opportunities for growth, she began building a team-centered culture focused on education, mentorship, and guest care. Rather than remaining comfortable with what was familiar, Michelle embraced change when she believed it would create a better experience for everyone who walked through The Lux Studio's doors.
After 4 years of rapid growth, she was ready to expand and share clients with other like minded entrepreneurs! In July 2019 The Lux Studio was born! It now a salon with 6 other stylists, two makeup artists, support staff, all who feel like family!
